What they are
Sermorelin is a 29-residue analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone - the first 29 amino acids of GHRH, which is the fragment that retains receptor activity. CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a modified GHRH analogue; ipamorelin is a pentapeptide that acts at the ghrelin receptor. The blend combines the two.
Receptors
Sermorelin and CJC-1295 both act at the GHRH receptor. Ipamorelin acts at the growth-hormone secretagogue receptor, a separate target. A blend therefore engages two distinct pathways where sermorelin engages one.
Half-life engineering
CJC-1295 without DAC is modified for resistance to enzymatic cleavage but lacks the drug-affinity complex that gives the DAC version its much longer circulating half-life. Sermorelin is unmodified and short-lived by comparison.
