What does "for research use only" mean?
The materials Causa Labs supplies are intended for laboratory research. They are not approved for use in humans or animals, are not medicines, and are not sold for personal use. Placing an order confirms research use.
Who tests the material, and how?
Every batch is HPLC-MS tested for identity, purity and mass by an independent third-party laboratory before it is listed - not an in-house bench. Some lots are additionally re-tested by a separate laboratory from a real order pulled off our own shelf; that is recorded per lot rather than promised for all of them. The certificate for any lot is available on request - quote the lot number from the box.
What is a Certificate of Analysis?
A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is the laboratory document recording what a specific batch was measured to contain - its identity, its purity and its mass. Ours are published against the lot number printed on the box.
How do I find the COA for the lot I received?
Match the lot number printed on the box against our published lots. Every lot is also listed on the published lots page.
Do you offer local pickup and delivery?
Yes, in two areas. In Southwest Florida: Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Punta Gorda and Lehigh Acres. In Greater Philadelphia: across the Main Line and the Route 422 corridor, from Overbrook out to Malvern and from King of Prussia out to Reading. Everywhere else ships from our United States warehouse.
Does the vial arrive ready to use?
No. Every vial ships as a sealed, freeze-dried powder - that is what keeps the material stable in transit without a cold chain. Nothing is supplied in solution, and Causa Labs does not include or sell any diluent or solvent. Preparing the material, and sourcing whatever that requires, is the researcher's own responsibility.
How is stock rotated?
First in, first out. Orders are fulfilled from the oldest qualifying lot, so material does not sit, and the lot you receive is traceable to the batch it came from and to that batch's published results.
How do I order?
Send a request from the order page with the material and quantity. You get a confirmation immediately, then we confirm availability and the final total by email, usually the same day. Nothing is charged until you have agreed the total.
How much is shipping?
A flat $20 on every shipped order, regardless of size - it is added to the total we confirm with you before you pay. Local pickup and delivery is free, in Southwest Florida and across Greater Philadelphia.
How do I pay?
Zelle, Venmo or Cash App; crypto; or cash on local pickup. No payment is taken on this website and we never ask for card details. Payment is arranged once we have confirmed availability and the total with you.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Orders are fulfilled from a United States warehouse. Contact us before ordering from outside the US so we can confirm what is possible.
