Research context
ARA-290, assigned the international nonproprietary name cibinetide, is a synthetic linear 11-residue peptide (pGlu-Glu-Gln-Leu-Glu-Arg-Ala-Leu-Asn-Ser-Ser) whose sequence is taken from the aqueous-facing surface of helix B of erythropoietin, with an N-terminal pyroglutamate.

Storage & laboratory handling
- Supplied as a sterile freeze-dried (lyophilised) powder, sealed under vacuum.
- Ships dry. The vial is not reconstituted, and no diluent or solvent is included or sold with it.
- Store the unopened vial refrigerated and protected from light.
- Allow the vial to reach room temperature before breaking the seal, to limit condensation.
- Handle under conditions appropriate to your laboratory's protocols.
Handling guidance covers storage of the material as supplied. It is not preparation or administration guidance, and none is provided.
Verification
ARA-290 (Cibinetide) is HPLC-MS tested for identity, purity and mass by an independent laboratory before it is listed. A certificate names the lot number printed on the box, so the document and the vial in front of you refer to the same batch, and is available on request.
